This post is not about building, as in building a house, no, it’s about building a life for ourselves that we love. This is a hard thing to do because we all have those pesky limiting beliefs that happily block the way.

It is almost as if we are in one of those obstacle course games from years ago on TV and we have to get through the blockades.

What does building a life mean?

It is a complex topic and a personal one because we all want different things.

The important part, though, is that we all have the power in us to become builders, we just need to cultivate it.

Building a life we love starts with building new perspectives and thoughts.

The power of compounding is real, for money and our thoughts!

If we start by compounding a new perspective about ourselves, others, our circumstances, and what we want to see and experience in our lives, we will start seeing different results.

Is there an area in your life you would like to rebuild? Is there an area in your life that has been demolished and now you are left with the foundations?

Think about how you will start building a new perspective and the thoughts will eventually compound.

Consistency is so important though, and it needs to happen every day.

Think about when the best time is for you to practice building a new perspective. This can be anything from meditation to journaling about your new perspective. Describe it, what does it look like? How does it feel? Do you immediately smile when you start building it?

Remember, you have what it takes to build a new life, a new set of circumstances that will reflect your highest standards and best self, and if you have a few obstacles in the way acknowledge them as obstacles and know that they can be moved!
