You’re familiar with that word familiarity?
We all have familiar patterns that we run every day, or that run us every day, but how often are we aware of these?
Maybe we are aware of areas where we would like to make changes.
Maybe we feel a sense of frustration because we seem to always be in the same unchanged state, or, the unchanged state is not changing!
Familiarity!
Think about this question: for how long have you been so familiar with a pattern in your life, which is really from a choice that you’ve made, and you are so familiar with it now that you are not really growing from it anymore?
Are you in a groovy pattern?
It can sort of feel like being in a groove, and all we do is move up and down the same groove (almost like polishing it with our same-old patterns), and yes maybe we do grow, but there comes a time when we have to ask ourselves:
Is there any more growth in this groove?
Do we need to re-assess this groove and get out of it to not only grow better, but flourish?
It’s like a plant in a pot, the roots are squashed at the bottom, but if you replant it in the ground the roots have more space to flourish and grow better.
What are some of your grooves?
